Successful completion of secondary school is the first condition. Then it's pretty straightforward: just apply, submit the necessary details, and pay the admission fee.
If everything's submitted and paid on time, there's a good chance we'll automatically accept you. There is no entrance examination.
YOUR STUDIES AT FEI
Welcome to FEI! After enrolling, you'll have a welcoming ceremony, matriculation, and your first winter semester. Unlike secondary school you don't have a term, but only 12 weeks of lectures, then Christmas and exams in January. Depending on your ability, you will then have a few days or weeks holiday. The summer semester starts in February, ending in May/June with exams again.
Congratulations – you've passed your first year exams and can continue into the second year. By now the university is your second home, so the winter and summer semesters come as a matter of course. But at the end of this year, you'll be choosing your Bachelor's Thesis. Select what you'd really like to explore.
The first stage is almost complete. The final year of your bachelor's degree will include the standard winter and summer semesters. During summer you will work hard on your first final thesis – Bachelor's Thesis. The summer exams are followed by your defence – and then you are awarded a bachelor. During the summer you officially lose student status.
Decide to continue with an engineering degree, and you'll be doing right both for your own future and perhaps the world's too. It depends on your Diploma Thesis – you choose the topic during this year. Otherwise it's a standard academic year: semester, exams, semester, exams.
The finishing line is in sight. Winter, summer, thesis and defences. At the end of a beautiful and challenging five-year journey you're awarded an 'Ing.' (MSc).
Change your ID and hold a party immediately! Congratulations – and we further offer you the opportunity of a PhD.
PhD. studies are for those who want to continue their scientific work, and make the world a better place. Design a new Mars rover, ease our transition to hydrogen power, program new AI, or answer the big questions about space. During your PhD studies you can also teach and get a decent stipend. Ideally after the first year, you'll defend the first part of your dissertation and the stipend will increase. You'll ultimately defend the whole study, and you'll be proud of your PhD and officially call yourself a Doctor.

HOW TO ENTER FEI?
In the application form we are interested in your secondary school results, especially your mathematics diploma. Plus points are awarded for any activity beyond mandatory subjects, such as participation in secondary school vocational activity, maths, physics or programming Olympiads, and various student competitions.

SMOOTH YOUR PATH TO FEI
Join road2FEI 2023 – the robotics competition for secondary and primary school students. The aim is to create an autonomous robot that can negotiate a designated course. As well as the fastest time, a team's design and promo activities are also evaluated – so get everyone involved, not only programming or tech heads. And this is a big plus for the admissions process!
