Welcome to FEI! After enrolling in school, you’ll have a ceremony, matriculation, and your first winter semester. So, unlike high school, you don’t have a semester, but only 12 weeks of lectures, then Christmas and exam period in January. Depending on your own skill, you then have a few days or weeks of small holidays. In February you will start the summer semester and at the end of May/June you will finish it again with exams.
Congratulations – you have passed your first year exams and can continue with the second. You’re already at home at the school, so I guess you won’t be surprised by the winter or summer semester anymore. At the end of this year, however, you are already choosing the topic of your Bachelor’s thesis. Choose what you really enjoy exploring.
The first stage is almost over. In the final year of your Bachelor’s degree, you will first go through the traditional winter and summer semesters. During the summer you will be working intensively on your first final thesis – bachelor thesis. After the classic summer exams, you just need to defend it and then you will proudly wear the title of Bachelor / Bachelorette. You will not officially be a student this summer.
If you decide to pursue an engineering degree, you will be doing good for your future and perhaps for the future of the world. It depends on what you are going to focus on in your Diploma Thesis – you choose the topic in this year. Otherwise, you’re just in for the classic semester, exams, semester, exams.
The final line is right in front of you. Winter, summer, thesis and defences. At the end of a beautiful and difficult five-year journey, Ing. Change your ID immediately, let everyone know! We congratulate you and, with a little sigh, offer you a PhD.
Doctoral studies are for people who want to continue their scientific work and move the world a little closer to perfection. Design a new Mars rover, ease our transition to hydrogen power, program new artificial intelligence or find new answers about space.
During your PhD studies you also teach here and there and get a decent stipend Ideally after the first year you will defend the first part of your Dissertation and the stipend will increase. In the end, you’ll defend it all, you’ll be proud of your PhD. and you can officially call yourself Doctor.
Everything digital had to be programmed by someone. The next million-dollar app, social network, e-shop or artificial intelligence can be created by you. We’ll teach you.

Join the robotics competition for high school students
and primary schools called road2FEI.
The goal is to create an autonomous robot that will be able to negotiate a tented course. The ability to complete the route in the shortest time possible will be judged, but also the design and promotional activities of the team – so it is worth involving anyone who is willing to contribute their bit beyond programming or technology.
